The 4Cs — Clear, Concise, Compelling, Credible: Be Clear, avoiding industry jargon that makes readers’ eyes glaze over. Be Concise because, in the battle of the bloat, less is always more. Be Compelling by telling a story or presenting a problem that hits close to home. Be Credible by backing up your claims with facts, figures, or testimonials.

QUEST — Qualify, Understand, Educate, Stimulate, Transition: Qualify your audience to make sure you’re talking to the right people. Understand their needs. Educate them on your unique cure for their woes. Stimulate their desire with a nudge towards the benefits. Finally, Transition them into action.
